Barnardo’s – our charity of the year
Lloyds TSB staff voted in record numbers to make Barnardo’s their chosen charity of the year for 2007. Together, Lloyds TSB and Barnardo’s aim to raise in excess of £1 million to fund over 2,000 training places for disadvantaged young people not in education, employment or training.
Who is Barnardo’s?
- Barnardo’s is one of the UK’s leading children’s charities. Every year they work with 110,000 children, young people and families across the UK in over 380 projects in local communities.
- Barnardo’s works with some of the most urgent social issues facing children in the UK today. This includes abuse, homelessness, disability, sexual exploitation and leaving care.

Doing our bit to help
Lloyds TSB is determined to help BHF make a difference. Over the next 2 years our people will be undertaking all sorts of fundraising activities to raise £2 million. We will also be working alongside the BHF on campaigns to get its healthy heart message across to everyone.
