What is Lloyds TSB ClickSafe®?
You’re already entering a PIN when you buy something in a shop, now we’re bringing you the same level of security to your internet shopping.
Lloyds TSB ClickSafe® (also known as Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode) is a free service that gives you extra protection when you’re shopping online by asking you for a pre-registered Personal Password before you complete your purchase. This allows us to confirm that it’s you who is using your card and not a fraudster.
What do I need to do?
You can register your Lloyds TSB card(s) when prompted while you’re shopping online at over one of 70,000 participating stores. You might see the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode logo displayed on these websites but don’t worry, these apply to the same service that helps protect your debit card online.

Access your Personal Account Manager.
If you’d like to add another Lloyds TSB card to your ClickSafe® account we suggest you do this through your Personal Account Manager to ensure you only have one ClickSafe® account for all your Lloyds TSB cards. You won’t be able to add another Lloyds TSB card to your existing ClickSafe® account when you’re shopping at a participating online store and asked to register your card.
I don’t have an existing Lloyds TSB ClickSafe® account, how do I register?
What should I do if I’m making an online purchase but I’m not prompted to register my card for ClickSafe®?
It may be that the retailer does not use Lloyds TSB ClickSafe® so please simply follow the retailer’s normal checkout process.
