Introductory offers are only available to new credit card customers within 6 weeks of account opening.
Terms and conditions apply to all Lloyds TSB credit card benefits. Full details will be sent with your card.
Credit card balance transfers can only be made from non-Lloyds TSB credit or store cards. Balance transfers must be for a minimum of £100 and are subject to your credit limit. We’ll charge a fee of 3% for all balance transfers you make and we’ll charge interest on this fee.
You must spend a minimum of £100 in the first three months to get the introductory balance transfer offer for the Platinum, Advance and Airmiles Duo credit cards. If purchases are less than £100 in the first 3 months the introductory offer is for 3 months from when the account was opened.
Payments reduce your balances in the following order:
Interest, charges, Payment Protection Cover premiums, balance transfers and cheques at 0%, other promotional balance transfers and cheques in the order they were added to your account, balance transfers and cheques charged at the standard rate, purchases and your annual fee (if applicable), cash withdrawals and all other amounts. This means that your balances on lower rates such as balance transfers are paid off before higher rate balances. Interest is charged on a balance transfer from the day it reaches your account. For the advance credit card you won’t pay interest on purchases at the standard rate until after the six month introductory interest free period on purchases ends.
After the introductory period has ended balance transfers will be charged at the standard rate for purchases.
If we agree to make a balance transfer (other than by Cheque), we need to make arrangements with the bank holding your other account. Once the arrangements are complete, it will take three business days for the money to arrive. Please continue to make payments to your other card(s) as usual until the balance transfer shows on your other card statement(s).
