In today’s financial climate we’re all looking for ways to manage our money better. Why pay a high interest rate with someone else when you could transfer the balance to your Lloyds TSB credit card and benefit from a low interest rate?
If you don’t currently hold a Lloyds TSB credit card you can apply online and request a balance transfer at the same time.

0% interest for six months with online balance transfers for existing Lloyds TSB credit card customers
If you’ve held your Lloyds TSB credit card for longer than six weeks you can apply online to transfer non-Lloyds TSB credit or store card balances at 0% interest for six months. We’ll charge a 3% fee for all balance transfers you make and we’ll charge interest on this fee.
You can request a balance transfer online when you log on to Internet Banking by selecting the 'balance transfer' link in the left hand navigation or on the account overview screen.

Important Information
Credit card balance transfers can only be made from non-Lloyds TSB credit cards or store cards. Your application is subject to your credit limit and dependent on our assessment of your circumstances. After approving your application we will send payments to your other card issuers. Until then please continue to make payments to your other cards as usual.
We’ll charge a fee of 3% for all balance transfers you make and we’ll charge interest on this fee. Balance transfers must be for a minimum of £100 and subject to your credit limit. You must leave at least £100 in your account, after the total amount of your balance transfers and their 3% fees have been deducted.
The minimum repayment is 2% of the balance shown in your statement (minimum £5, or the full balance if less than £5), or if it is more, the total of interest and the Payment Protection Cover premium shown in your statement. After the minimum payments have been made, the remainder is allocated to promotional balances at 0%, followed by other promotional balances (see section 6 of customer conditions for further detail of payment allocation) first. This means that your balances on lower rates such as balance transfers are paid off before higher rate balances. Interest is charged on a balance transfer from the day it reaches your account.

** Bonus Airmiles are only awarded on whole multiples of £1000s (£1000, £2000, £3000 etc.) transferred from a single provider. For example, bonus Airmiles would not be rewarded on a balance transfer of £999 or if the transfer is split between more than one credit or store card.
