At Lloyds TSB we offer a range of credit cards with APR's from 11.9% APR. Typical 15.9% APR variable.

Can I apply for more than one card?
You can only apply for one Lloyds TSB credit card. If you have an existing credit card account, this will be closed and any balance(s) will be transferred to your new credit card account on the new terms and conditions.
 If you apply for Airmiles Duo you will be issued with 2 Cards but on the same account.

How do I collect Airmiles?
You collect Airmiles when your spend on your Airmiles Duo Credit Cards.
Miles are not awarded on cash withdrawals, money transfers, cheques, interest, fees or charges, Payment Protection Cover, Transactions at casinos, betting outlets or bookmakers or payments to offline or online current, savings, sharetrading, spread betting, gambling or any other similar account.

How many Airmiles can I collect?
You collect 1 mile per £10 on your Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo American Express® Card and 1 mile per £50 on your Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo MasterCard – so you earn 5 times faster on your Lloyds TSB American Express® Card.

What can I use my Airmiles for?

Can I have an additional cardholder on my account?
Yes you can as long as they are 18 or over. An additional card is free and to apply call Customer Services on the numbers below once your account is open.

0845 606 2175 - Lloyds TSB Airmiles Duo Credit Card account enquiries.

As the primary cardholder you will be responsible, the transactions made by both you and the additional cardholder will appear on the same statement.

Do I pay an annual fee?
No, our Airmiles Duo Cards, Platinum MasterCard, Advance MasterCard and Student MasterCard are all fee free. If you are applying for an Airmiles Duo Premier account and do not hold a Premier current account, you will be charged an annual fee of £50.

What is the difference between American Express® and MasterCard? American Express® and MasterCard are providers of Lloyds TSB credit cards. Your Lloyds TSB American Express® card allows you to collect up to 5 times the Airmiles than your Lloyds TSB MasterCard. American Express® is widely accepted wherever you see the American Express® sign, and where you can’t use it, you’ll have your Lloyds TSB MasterCard which is accepted at over 24 million outlets worldwide.

How do I make a payment?
There are a number of ways to make a payment. The easiest method is by Direct Debit, which is a payment taken each month from a bank or building society of your choice and paid directly into your credit card account. Alternatively, you can pay by cheque, using a Bank Giro Credit slip and envelope supplied with your monthly statement or you can use the Bank Giro Credit to pay by cash or cheque over any bank counter. There may be a charge if the payment is made at a Bank other than Lloyds TSB.

What should I do if I cannot make the required repayment?
You must contact Customer Services immediately on 0845 606 2172 or 0845 606 2175 if you are an Airmiles Duo or Airmiles Duo Premier Credit Card account customer.

What should I do if I don’t recognise a transaction on my statement?
You should call Customer Services immediately with the transaction details. We'll then be able to look into the item on your behalf. Please note, we may require you to sign a declaration form disclaiming your knowledge of the transaction(s) and we may need to block your account number for security purposes.

What should I do if I lose my card or it is stolen?
You should call Customer Services immediately on 0800 096 9779 or if you are calling from abroad, call +44 1702 278270.

If I find my card after it has been reported lost or stolen, can I start using it again?
No, once you have reported your card lost or stolen, even if found, you cannot start using it again. A new card is ordered for you when you report your card lost or stolen and should be with you in a few days. However, you should let us know that you have found the card by calling us on 0845 606 2712 or 0845 606 2175 if you are an Airmiles Duo or Airmiles Duo Premier Credit Card account customer.

What do I do if my card is due to expire?
Provided your account is in order, a new card will be automatically issued to you before your existing card expires.

What is Payment Protection Cover and how much does it cost?
Payment Protection Cover ensures that your monthly card repayments are maintained if you are unable to work through accident, sickness or unemployment. Cover costs just 79p per £100 of your monthly statement balance.

In the event of a claim, what exactly is the payment cover provided?
Payment Protection Cover will pay 5% of your outstanding balance after 15 consecutive days and will continue to do so for a period of up to 11 months. The twelfth and final payment clears your entire remaining balance along with any interest owed. If the worst should happen and you or an additional cardholder dies, we will immediately repay the full outstanding balance subject to a maximum of £20,000.
