Covers payments
- Payment Protection Cover takes care of your card payments if you are unable to work due to an accident, sickness or unemployment.
- Cover starts after just 15 consecutive days off work and continues for up to a year after which time your entire balance is cleared along with any interest owed, up to a maximum of £20,000.
- If the worst should happen and you or an additional cardholder dies, Payment Protection Cover will immediately repay the full outstanding balance, subject to a maximum of £20,000.
Positive Job Solutions employment advisory service
- Payment Protection Cover also offers Positive Job Solutions – a confidential employment advisory service that you or your immediate family can use free of charge at any time. Positive Job Solutions will give you all the advice you need whether you are unemployed or simply considering a career change.
- Assistance includes CV and interview preparation, job vacancy searches and help in dealing with the Benefits Agency and Job Centre.

If you are a new customer
- Simply ensure that you tick the box for ‘Yes’ to Payment Protection Cover on your application form.
If you are an existing customer
- If you already hold one of our cards and would like to add optional Payment Protection Cover you can sign up quickly and easily:

If you’re registered for Internet banking, you can sign up quickly and easily. Once logged on simply select the ‘Payment Protection’ dropdown option next to your card in the account list.
