Lloyds TSB is a responsible lender and we only want you to borrow what you can afford and in a way that is best for you. If you’d like to talk to us about the choices you’ve made or would like advice we will be happy to refer you a member of staff that will be able to help you. They will also be able to help you if you’re experiencing financial difficulties.
The issue of a credit card depends on our assessment of your circumstances. You must be 18 or over to apply. Terms and conditions apply to all Lloyds TSB credit card benefits. Full details will be sent with your card.
Information about Balance Transfers:
Balances must be transferred from non-Lloyds TSB group credit cards or store cards within 6 weeks of account opening. Minimum balance transfer is £100 and is subject to your credit limit. Your monthly payments will pay off your interest, charges and if relevant, Payment Protection Premiums first. After this we put the rest of your payments to promotional balances at 0%, followed by other promotional balances (see section 6 of customer conditions for further details of payment allocation). This means that your balances on lower rates such as balance transfers are paid off before higher rate balances.
If you make at least £100 of purchases in the first 3 months after we open your account the 0% interest rate is fixed for 14 months from the date the transferred balance is put on your account. Otherwise, this rate is fixed until 3 months after we open your account. Monthly payments reduce balance transfers first so you pay interest on purchases at the standard rate until balance transfers are paid off.
After the introductory period has ended balance transfers will be charged at the standard rate for purchases. Introductory balance transfer offers are available to new Lloyds TSB credit card customers only.
If after we open your account you make a balance transfer in the first 6 weeks and you make purchases of £100 in the first 3 months, we will apply a credit of £3.72 to your account.
Information about Purchases:
Interest free period on purchases is up to 56 days if the full balance is paid off by the due date on both the previous and the latest statements.
Information about Fraud loss:
