AA Breakdown Cover

If you’re a Silver, Gold, Platinum or Premier customer you get many of the advantages of AA Breakdown Cover included as part of your account. The AA is the UK’s largest breakdown service and recovery provider and its assistance will be available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You don’t have to worry about remembering to renew your cover – it will be renewed automatically each year, as long as your Gold, Platinum or Premier account is active. And you’re protected whether you’re in your own car or someone else’s.

AA Accident Management - the service that may include recovering your vehicle to a garage, organising a replacement vehicle and arranging paperwork between you, your insurer and the repairers

If you need help

If you break down, help is just a phone call away. Please remember to have your debit card always with you, so you can prove you are covered. If you are a Select customer please keep your Select membership card with you. For AA breakdown assistance call:

Should you be involved in an accident while in your own or someone else’s vehicle, please call AA Accident Management on 0800 374 347. A Personal Incident Manager will be appointed to manage your claim from start to finish. Where your vehicle is immobilised by an accident outside normal working hours, you can still call AA Accident Management to arrange recovery of your vehicle to a place of safety overnight. They will also arrange for you to receive a follow up call from a Personal Incident Manager during normal working hours.

If you want even greater breakdown protection, you can upgrade your AA Breakdown Cover to suit your personal needs. As a Gold or Platinum customer you will get a discount on the normal AA upgrade rates by calling the numbers listed above.
