The Lloyds TSB Money Transfer Card, is a simple, quick and safe way to send money abroad to family or friends.
You can send the card to any friend or family member who is over 18. Once they receive the card you simply call us to activate it. You’ll need to select a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to pass on to them. Please ensure the PIN is not shared with anyone else.
Once activated, you can top up the card with UK sterling from your Silver Account 24/7. The card and PIN can then be used to withdraw cash from an ATM or pay for things anywhere in the world where VISA is accepted. Charges apply for using this card. Please refer to ‘fees and charges’ below.

**This card is an e-money product and therefore the Financial Services Compensation Scheme does not apply to it. This means that in the unlikely event that we become insolvent, the Card may become unusable and you may lose the value stored on your Card. This card operates like ‘cash in your wallet’. If the Card is lost or stolen, you may lose the value stored on your Card.
