Lloyds TSB Money Transfer Card

The Lloyds TSB Money Transfer Card, is a simple, quick and safe way to send money abroad to family or friends.

You can send the card to any friend or family member who is over 18. Once they receive the card you simply call us to activate it. You’ll need to select a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) to pass on to them. Please ensure the PIN is not shared with anyone else.

Once activated, you can top up the card with UK sterling from your Silver Account 24/7. The card and PIN can then be used to withdraw cash from an ATM or pay for things anywhere in the world where VISA is accepted. Charges apply for using this card. Please refer to ‘fees and charges’ below.

Applying for and topping-up your card

 You can apply for your Money Transfer Card once you have opened your Silver Account by calling 08456 031 839†. It will be sent to you along with a user guide and instructions on how to activate and use it.

Whenever you need to top it up simply call us on 08456 031 839† or +44 1733 347 250 if calling from overseas.

Login to check your balance, recent transactions and to top up your card online. Log on now.

Fees and charges

The following fees and charges will be debited directly to the Card as they arise: ATM withdrawals - £1.50 per withdrawal, currency conversion charge – 3% of transaction.

Lost or stolen cards

Call us straight away on 08456 031 839† or +44 1733 347 250 if calling from overseas. We will immediately cancel your old card and arrange for you to receive a replacement card. We will transfer the balance that was on the old card at the time we receive your call to your replacement card**.
