Once you have opened your account, if you need to talk to someone, you can call the Student and Graduate banking team on 0845 3 000 000, visit your Lloyds TSB branch or click here to contact us.
You can check your account details by using Internet Banking, by ordering a statement at a Cashpoint®.

No, we'll do this for you automatically.
How long will it take to open my account?
Your account will be opened in around five working days. Your card, PIN and cheque book will arrive a couple of days after you've received your account number.
I have a card and a cheque book for another Lloyds TSB account. Can I use these while I wait for new ones to arrive?
Yes.
Can I still keep my existing Lloyds TSB account at my branch?
Yes, unless you have an under 19's account, in which case the branch will close the account. If you have any further queries, please refer to your branch.
How quickly will I have to pay my overdraft back?
As a student, you can have an overdraft the whole time you are studying, subject to status and application. If your account is converted to a Graduate account, you can continue with an overdraft, at the limit specified, for a further three years. After this point it will no longer be interest-free.
Where can I get cash out?
You can get cash out at any of our branches and Cashpoint® machines in the UK free of charge, as well as many others - please note that there may be a small charge at a non-Lloyds TSB cashpoint.
How do I pay into my account?
You'll be provided with some paying in slips that you can use to pay in cash or cheques at our branches or the Post Office.

How can someone transfer money into my account?

You can call us from outside the UK on +44 207 785 7654 or use our Internet Banking service, provided you are registered.
What do I do if I lose either my debit card or my credit card?
If you lose either of your cards, please call Card Services on 0800 096 9779 straight away. We can stop the card immediately and arrange for a replacement to be sent to you.
What happens after I finish my course?
After graduating, if you already have a Student account with us, your account will automatically be converted to a Graduate account.
