Graduate Gold account - mobile phone insurance

Mobile phones are handy but they can be a headache if they go missing or don’t work. As a Graduate Gold account customer, you don’t have to worry – your mobile is insured free, both at home and abroad, as one of the benefits of your account.

This could save you £112 a year* – and if you have a joint Graduate Gold account, the saving is even greater, as we’ll cover a maximum of two phones with your policy at no extra cost.

The cover includes:

  • loss,
  • theft from person: repair or replacement phone up to £450,
  • accidental damage: repair or replacement phone up to £450,
  • water and liquid damage: repair or replacement phone up to £450,
  • breakdown: repair or replacement phone up to £450,
  • unauthorised airtime for pre-paid phones (including pay as you go): up to £300,
  • unauthorised calls per claim for contract phone: up to £1,500,
  • accessory cover: as long as it’s attached to your mobile,
  • 2 claims per account in 12 month period,
  • excess per claim: £30.

How do I register my phone?

Register for your mobile phone insurance by calling our Gold Membership Services on 08458 50 50 56 and quoting your account number and sort code.

Your cover starts 15 days after successful registration of your phone. Please note that if you change your phone or network provider in the future make sure you let us know, otherwise you will not be covered.

You can also register your phone online, as well as submit a claim or change your details.
