Islamic Account terms and conditions.

All you need to open a Student Account is your UCAS confirmation letter or a letter from your university or college confirming your place. If you are a new customer we’ll also need to see proof of your ID and address. Once you've opened your account you'll be able to apply for the benefits associated with your Islamic Student Account.

To apply for the Islamic Student Account you must:

  • have been a permanent UK resident for the last 3 years†,
  • be 17 years or older, 
  • not have a Student Account elsewhere, 
  • be studying on a full-time course of at least two years, or a one year access course leading onto a full-time degree.

You can apply for an Islamic Student account at any Lloyds TSB branch.

† Overdrafts are available to customers aged 18 and over. Subject to status and application and are repayable in full on demand.
