Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance - what's happening?


Lloyds TSB is withdrawing from the pet insurance market and therefore Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance is no longer available to new business customers. With effect from 1st February 2012 the underwriter of Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance, UK Insurance Limited, will no longer offer to renew existing policies. If you have already obtained a quote for Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance and would like to discuss this, please call 0800 032 7145.

Information for existing customers

Am I still covered?

You are covered for the remainder of your current Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance policy period. Therefore if your pet has an accident or gets ill and needs treatment for a condition that is covered under the policy terms and conditions before the anniversary date of your policy your claim will be processed in the usual way.

Who do I contact if I want to make a claim under my Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance policy?

You can submit your claim in the usual way; full details about the claims procedure and how to submit your claim are detailed within your Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance policy documents. To register a claim or to speak to a claims operator please call 0845 603 3592.

What happens when my existing policy with Lloyds TSB Pet Insurance expires?

At your anniversary date, your policy will end and all cover will cease. If you still need insurance for your pet(s) you should seek a new pet insurance provider.
