• You can opt for up to £20,000 of course fees protection should you have to de-register from your course due to death, accident or illness of you or a parent/guardian financially supporting you.

• Optional cover for your phone against theft, damage or accidental loss and airtime abuse up to £150 in the UK.

• Optional cover for your belongings at your term time address up to the amounts, and subject to the same single item and groups of items limits, you have selected for your total contents sum insured. You are also covered for loss of keys to your term time address.

• If you wish to cover the contents of your room whilst unoccupied during vacations, up to a maximum of 35 days continuously, and up to a maximum of £3,000, then you can take out additional vacation cover.

Q. What do I need to make a claim?
A. There is no need to get estimates to replace items - Endsleigh will do this. For items lost or stolen, you will need to send proof of ownership such as original invoices, receipts, manuals, photographs or guarantee certificates. Photocopies are not acceptable, so please send originals as soon as you can. It is appreciated that for lower value items this may not be possible.  Please send to:

Please don't throw away items that have been damaged as Endsleigh may wish to examine them. They have a range of specially selected suppliers who can arrange to collect and inspect damaged items. If they feel this is necessary they will contact you following receipt of your claim details.

Q. What will you do?
A. Endsleigh will aim to settle your claim as quickly as possible and on receipt of your claim details they will contact you within 1 week. They will normally replace items through one of their specially selected suppliers. Where this is not possible they will pay in cash.
It may be necessary for one of their staff or a Loss Adjuster to visit you. This is a normal claims procedure so please do not worry. They will let you know if this is necessary on receipt of your claim details.

Q. How long will it take to settle my claim?
A. It really depends on the extent of your claim and the enquiries needed. They will however settle your claim as quickly as they can.
