Payment Protection Plus provides valuable protection when you are off work due to accident, sickness or unemployment. It pays:

• Your monthly mortgage repayment,
• Your home insurance premiums if you take out a policy with us,
• A monthly cash sum of £3 for every £1,000 of your opening mortgage balance. The maximum benefit payable under this policy is either £1,300 or the amount of your normal monthly mortgage payment including your monthly home insurance premium (if applicable), whichever is the greater.

How do I apply?

If you’ve got a Lloyds TSB Scotland mortgage you can only apply at your local branch.
If not, you can apply in any of the following ways. You must tell us you wish to include Payment Protection Plus or Scottish Widows Mortgage Protection when you apply for your mortgage.
