Personal Tax Service

If you find filling in your tax return tedious and time consuming, or you need specialist tax advice for exceptional situations, such as selling your busines, our Personal Tax Service can help with these and a whole range of other tax issues.*

You can choose the extent of our Personal Tax Service involvement to suit you. Whether you need us to prepare your whole annual tax return, provide specific tax advice or just carry out an annual review of your income tax position, the choice is up to you.

If you choose to have your tax return completed by us or to have an annual review of your income tax position, we will:

• introduce you to the expertise of our dedicated team
  of tax specialists,
• use our knowledge of your finances to ensure that your tax affairs are handled appropriately and confidentially,
• complete your tax return (or a review of your tax affairs), complying with all self-assessment requirements and claiming all appropriate reliefs and exemptions for you.

For an additional fee, you can also choose to receive:

• an annual tax planning report on your tax affairs, offering suggestions to help you pay less tax in future,
• access to reactive tax advice on issues that may arise, for example, the tax implications of taking a company car.

Complex Tax Service

If you are facing a particularly complex tax situation and need advice on how to minimise your tax bill, we can help.

Lloyds TSB Private Banking has a special partnership arrangement with international tax specialists KPMG. This takes the hassle out of having to choose a specialist firm of accountants that you can trust. We can introduce you to one of KPMG's qualified tax advisers, specially selected for their experience in dealing with the individual requirements of Private Banking clients. We would be happy to join you for the initial meeting if you wish.

Being introduced to KPMG by Lloyds TSB Private Banking means that your initial consultation with them is completely free of charge.  If you then decide that the service is not for you, there’s no obligation to take it further.
