Email communications

We're emailing again. Keeping you up-to-date on products and services.
We're emailing again

We recognise that email is a convenient way for you to hear from us on new developments, products and services, therefore, we are restarting our email communications to our personal banking customers.

However, we are aware of the growing number of phishing scams and we want you to help you feel secure in receiving our emails. If you have any concerns find out about how to recognise a genuine Lloyds TSB email.

You need to make sure that your email address is kept up-to-date because we may email you about important information on your products and services. View and update your email address.

How to identify a genuine Lloyds TSB email

Below are four ways you can check to confirm that an email is genuinely from us:

  1. Personalisation. We will always quote the last four digits of your account number. By default this will be your main account (e.g. current account, savings account or credit card). We will also greet you personally using your Title and Surname. We will never use ‘Dear User’ or ‘Dear Valued Customer'.
  2. Links. All links within our email will only ever go to a page on www.lloydstsb.com. In phishing emails, web site addresses may appear genuine on first sight, but if you hover your mouse over the link it may reveal a link to a malicious web site address. Please ensure that the link address always starts with http://email.lloydstsb.com. We will never link direct through to our Internet Banking log on page or to a page that asks for your security or personal details.
  3. Attachments. We will never attach a file or document to an email.
  4. Senders email address. For our personal customers we will use a sender email address of info@email.lloydstsb.com or insurance@email.lloydstsb.com.

Please ensure that ALL of the above apply to an email to confirm it is a genuine Lloyds TSB email. If you suspect you’ve received a fraudulent email, please forward it to us for investigation at emailscams@lloydstsb.co.uk and then delete it from your inbox without responding.
