More information about saving your User ID

In order to make it easier for you to log on, you can choose to have your User ID saved on your computer so that you don’t have to enter it every time you use Internet banking.

Simply tick the box titled ‘Remember my User ID’ on the log on page, and your User ID will be there each time you return to log on.

We will only remember your User ID and not any other pieces of your log on information, such as your Password or Memorable Information. You must ensure that you do not share these with anyone else.

Shared computers

We recommend that you don’t choose to have your User ID remembered if you use a shared computer, or if anyone else can access your computer.

Use of cookies

In order to remember your User ID, we use ‘cookies’. These allow us to store your User ID and identify you each time you visit.

If you have your browser set up to reject cookies then we will not be able to remember your User ID.

For more information about cookies, view our privacy policy.

What to do if you don’t want your User ID remembered.

If you don’t want your User ID remembered for future visits, simply ‘untick’ the same selection box you used initially to ‘remember’ your User ID.
