If you use your Lloyds TSB credit card there will be a 2.95% charge (on the transaction amount) unless you use the Travel Money Hotline, when there will be no charge. ##Customers who do not hold a Lloyds TSB current/savings/business account, credit card or loan will be charged 1.5% commission (minimum £3) on buy-backs of foreign currency travellers cheques. The price at which we buy-back your currency may differ from the price at which we sold it to you. There are minimum denominations we can accept in certain currencies. Details of these will be supplied with your order. We may not be able to re-purchase currency if a country becomes embargoed or we no longer deal with that currency.

Taking Travellers Cheques abroad

You can either:

• Exchange your Travellers Cheques for local currency in your destination, or
• Use your Travellers Cheques to pay directly for goods and services at accepting retailers, restaurants, and hotels.

There are thousands of banks and foreign exchange locations in countries around the world where you can exchange your Travellers Cheques for local currency. 

• Photo identification may be required.
• We strongly recommend you retain and carry your original purchase receipt with you when you travel.
• Commission charges may apply and can vary by country or exchange partner.
• Exchange limits may apply due to local regulations and exchange policies.

You can use your Travellers Cheques like cash to pay directly for products and services at accepting retailers, restaurants, and hotels.

• Photo identification may be required.
• We cannot guarantee that all places accept Travellers Cheques as a form of payment

If your American Express® Travellers Cheques are lost or stolen, you’ll find the number of the local American Express office in the wallet that your Travellers Cheques came in. Or you can call the American Express helpline on +44 1273 571 600 or 01273 693 555 if dialling from the UK‡.
You can get cash in an emergency by calling:

• your Lloyds TSB branch , Monday to Friday (closed Bank Holidays),
• +44 170 227 8270 outside branch hours‡.
• Please note that obtaining emergency cash depends on the availability of funds in your account.
• You'll need to:
• report all facts of the loss or theft to the police if American Express ask you to,
• inform American Express of the serial number of the lost or stolen Travellers Cheques and the place and date of their purchase,
• complete the refund forms provided by American Express® and provide acceptable proof of your identity.
  

Give American Express all the information and help they ask for to make a complete investigation of the loss or theft. American Express reserves the right to investigate the loss or theft.

Internet Banking ordering and delivery information:

• the minimum order amount is £100, 
• orders confirmed before 3.15pm Monday - Friday will be delivered by 1.00pm the next working day (Monday if ordered on Friday), 
• orders confirmed after 3.15pm on a working day, or orders on a day that is not a working day (e.g. Saturday/Sunday and Bank Holidays) will be available on the second working day from the date of order i.e. if ordered on Saturday, it will be available on Tuesday, 
• orders for delivery to a Lloyds TSB branch can be collected after 1.00pm,
• any orders that have not been collected (from your chosen branch) after 10 working days from the delivery date that you selected will be returned to the processing centre, 
• orders placed are currently commission free; there is a £4.50 delivery charge for home deliveries* (to cover the cost of registered post), delivery to a Lloyds TSB branch is free, 
• you may place multiple orders using your current account to pay for your purchase providing each one does not exceed the maximum sterling value of £3,000. The total value of each order must be at least £100,
• the service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. There may be periods when this online service is unavailable due to routine maintenance; an appropriate message is displayed on screen during these periods.
