There are many thousands of forgotten bank accounts in the UK. And at Lloyds TSB we’re committed to reuniting our customers with that money.
We’re part of the British Bankers’ Association response to the Unclaimed Assets Scheme. The scheme will re-invest any forgotten money, which has sat untouched in a savings or current account for 15 years or more, back into the community. The scheme is due to launch in the next few months, but a definite date has not yet been confirmed.
We realise that some of our customers may have forgotten that they hold money in an account with us. So, even after we’ve transferred the money to the scheme, you can still re-claim your money – and this is something that we can help you with.
What you need to do.
If you’ve held a Lloyds TSB account in the past and think you may have forgotten accounts with us, we can do our best to find and reactivate these for you.
Before you contact us, please consider the following:

If you do call into a branch, please bring along any old passbooks, statements or any other information related to the account you’re trying to trace. You’ll also need to bring along some identification, like a passport or drivers license.
